Christmas Card Set

Hi everyone!  I created this set of Christmas cards for the Challenge this week over at TSG.  I used 2 really cute stamp sets from TSG and the matching die set.  These are small 4X4 square cards which make them easier to make sets of.  I can't wait to send these out to some friends and family this year!

Vintage Christmas

Hi everyone!  I hope you are having a wonderful week.  Being in the states, I am busy preparing for Thanksgiving on Thursday.  This fortnight, at Craft-Room challenge,  Mervi is challenging us to create something special with a vintage Christmas theme.  To be honest this was a real challenge for me.  I am usually a cutesy Christmas card kind of girl, but I had SOOO MUCH FUN making this card I might just make a few more.

I used a beautiful collage stamp from La Blanche stamps.  I pulled out my Tim Holtz Distress Markers and Inks to color the image.  It is hard to see but I added some sparkle to his beard, hat and coat trim, and piano cushion with Distress Dry Glitter in Clear Rock Candy.  The cardstock is from Bazzil.  I distressed all of the edges to add to the vintage feel.  The patterned paper is from Recollections Holiday Traditions mat stack.  I made a double bow from cream seam binding and finished it with a snowflake and a Jelly Bean Green button from MFT.

I finished the inside of the card with the same paper pad.  The sentiment is from AmyR's Christmas Sentiments II set.  I stamped that in Walnut Stain Distress ink.  I hope you enjoy my card and it inspires you to try your hand at some vintage Christmas crafts.  Please visit the Craft-Room Challenge blog and join in!  Have a wonderful week.

Afternoon Tea Challenge

Hi everyone!  This week Suzanne's challenge over at Craft-Room Challenge blog is Afternoon Tea.  Her picture inspired me this week to make a 3D project along with a card.

I created this adorable tea pot gift box with my Silhouette Cameo.  This is an SVG from the wonderful company SVGCuts.  Mary and Leo are the creative geniuses/owners of this company and I LOVE everything they sell.  If you have a cutting machine that can cut SVG files you need to check out this site! The card was created with an adorable stamp by MFT.  I colored the image in with my Copic markers.  The paper is from Kaisercraft.  With a little gift tucked inside the tea pot I think this would make an adorable presentation for any little girls birthday or maybe even a bridal shower.  I hope you enjoy my inspiration and create an adorable Tea project yourself.  Have a wonderful week!

Leaves Challenge.

Hi all!  I have the weekend off and the hubby is working so I am taking the day to play in my craft room.  I wanted to create a card for this weeks challenge at There She Goes.  I was trying to figure out what to do when I was suddenly inspired by the tree in our backyard.  Aren't the colors pretty?

I used the new stamp set "Happy Fall" from designer Daniel Lounds for TSG.  It is such a whimsical set perfect for Fall/Thanksgiving.  The DP is from The Pumpkin Patch Stack by DCWV.  The cardstock is from Bazzil.  I created the leaf strip with a stencil from Existencil Expressions and Distress ink in Mustard Seed, Wild Honey, and Aged Mahogany.

I finished the inside with the same DP and stamp set.  I left room for a personal message to the recipient.  I hope you enjoy the card and have a wonderful fall week!

TSG Sketch Challenge

Hi all!  Here is my entry for this weeks challenge at There She Goes.

I used the JFY: Halloween Additions stamp set for this card.  The sentiment is from the AmyR Witchful-ful Thinking stamp set.  The DP is AC Pumpkin Patch collection.  I added a final touch with Stickles and black flat back pearls.  I also did faux stitching with my white gel pen.  I hope you like the card and have a wonderfully scary Halloween week!  Boo!

Stamps: JFY: Halloween Additions; AmyR Witchful-ful Thinking
Ink: Copic Markers; Brilliance Graphite Black; Memento Tuxedo Black; Versafine Onyx Black
Paper: Bazzil Cardshop Cardstock; AC Pumpkin Patch; Copic X-press it
Embellishments: Stickles in Crystal; Black flat back pearls; Bakers twine from the Twinery

Stencils Or Masks Challenge

Hi all!  This is my first DT entry for the Craft Room Challenge Blog.  I am so excited to be picked for their design team!  All of the ladies are super nice and supportive.

I am new to this whole stencil/mask thing, so I started out slow.  I took some 6x6 patterned paper from the AC Pumpkin Patch collection and created a spider web background on it with the MFT Spider web Stencil and Dylusions Squeezed Orange ink spray.  I then cut it down to an A2 size and created my card using this as the background paper.  The stamp set I used was the super cute JFY: Halloween Additions from TSG.  The sentiment was from AmyR Stamps Witchful-ful Thinking.  I hope you enjoy my card, and it provides inspiration for you to dig out those stencils/masks.  Have a wonderful week!

Be Prepared

Hi all!  Here is my entry for this weeks challenges over at There She Goes and Simon Says Stamp.  They challenged us to make a Christmas/Holiday card early to get ready ahead of time for the busy season.

I know it is hard to see but I used Distress Rock Candy Stickles to add snowflakes to the background.  I used Diamond Stickles on the snowman and snow.  Finally, I added glossy accents to the light string.  I think it all added a nice finishing touch.  What do you think?

I decided to pop up the snowman and the sentiment for a little added interest.

Finally, I finished the card with a similar layout as the front.  I hope all of you like this card, and it gets you into the holiday spirit.  Have a wonderful week!
