C.C. Designs 2014 DT Call

Hey there crafty peeps!  I don't know if you have heard but C.C. Designs is having a DT call.  This is such a wonderful company, and I have had the privilege to work on their DT since March of this year.  I knew right away I wanted to throw my hat in for another chance to work with them.  I have loved their stamps, dies, and other products since I started card making many years ago.

It was really hard to choose a stamp to make a new project with for the call since I have so many and I LOVE them all.  In the end I chose the new Santa's Ride stamp.  He is just so much fun and very jolly!  Just as Santa should be right? I colored him up with my Copic markers and added some sparkle with stickles to his fur trim.  I also added sparkle to the sleigh with my silver and gold Wink of Stella markers.  His boots, glasses, and buttons are finished with a coat of Glossy Accents.  I also used a sentiment from the AmyR Joyful Greetings set.  A complete list of the supplies I used and links can be found at the end of my post.  I really hope you enjoy my card, and wish me luck!  It would be a dream come true to be asked to design again for this great company.

I used the new Kisses Stamp.  I colored this cutie with my Copic Markers.  I colored the cat like my kitty Basil because this is exactly something I would try with her, lol.

Forest Friends Craft Room Challenge

Hey there crafty peeps!  I am hosting the new challenge over at the Craft Room.  I have chosen the theme of Forest Friends for this challenge.  I am a big fan of the forest and all the critters that live in it, especially owls.  I am challenging you to create a project with a forest critter as your focal point.  Here is a little inspiration for you.

I used the Love you S'more stamps and dies from Lawn Fawn for this card.  I created the background by blending Dusty Concord, Faded Jeans, and Tumbled Glass Distress Inks over embossed stars that I applied using a Stencil by Memory Box.  The background patterned paper is from the Doodlebug Happy Camper collection.  Head on over to the blog to view the rest of the inspiration created by the DT and join in the fun for your chance to win a great prize from Tando Creative.

Make It Monday Fall Shaker Card

Hi there everyone!  Today it is my turn for Make It Monday at the CC Designs blog.  I decided to do something new this time around and make a video instead of a picture tutorial.  That being said, this is my first video so go easy on me!  I used the new Autumn Teddy image and the new AmyR Happy Harvest Sentiments.  The sequins are from Pretty Pink Posh.  The patterned paper is from the new Carta Bella collection A Perfect Autumn
