Really Reasonable Ribbon January Blog Hop

Hi there crafty ribbon lovers!  Today is the day for the January Blog Hop at Really Reasonable Ribbon. The design team and I have come up some beautiful projects with the new Sweetheart Collection.

If you are following along you should have come here from Jennifer's Blog.  If not, head over to the Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog to start at the beginning.

I created this adorable vintage Valentine with my hoarded Graphic 45 Sweet Sentiments collection paper.  I absolutely love this collection and have a hard time using it, but I knew it would be perfect for this month.  I started with a A2 size white card base which a matted a slightly smaller piece of red cardstock on top.  I then layered a piece of patterned paper to the cardstock.  I layered several cutout images from the collection to form a collage.  I added dark red flatback pearls on the card as accents.

I created the belly band from 5/8" Pearl Pink Diamond Satin ribbon and 3/8" White Double Faced Satin Ribbon from this months assortment.  I created a quadruple looped bow from the same 3/8" White Double Faced Satin Ribbon with my Bow-It-All tool.

I hope you enjoy my vintage Valentine made with the Sweetheart Collection.  Now head on over to Bonnie's Blog which is the next on our hop.  Have a wonderful crafty day!

  5. Beautiful card. Love the layout. Nice bow. It cracks me up when you said you used some of your hoarded paper because we all have some of that and wonder why we didn't buy more later when we could have.

  6. Beautiful card with the Graphic 45. I will be using one of those images from this pad and hard to want to cut it out since there is only one page in the pad and both sides are gorgeous. Great Job, Nancy RRR
