Old Fashioned Christmas Card

Hi there crafty peeps!  I am back today to share a card I made using some beautiful ribbons from Really Reasonable Ribbon.

I created a card by layering several images/papers from the Traditional Santa Creativity Kit by Polly's Paper on Etsy.  I wrapped a length of Plain Cotton Blend Ribbon around the middle of the card and then some Double-Faced Red Satin Ribbon around that.  I also created a double looped bow with the same satin ribbon and attached that to the top left corner.  I added some yellow Perfect Pearls to the center of the poinsettia printed image, and three glitter enamel dots to add a little sparkle to the bottom left corner.  I hope you enjoy this old fashioned Christmas card.  Have a wonderful day!

Silver and Gold Challenge with Ribbon

Hi there crafty peeps!  I am back to share a Christmas tag that I made for the new challenge going on at the Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog.  We are challenging you to create a project with the theme of Silver and Gold with ribbon.

I created a Christmas tag using Elements from the Shabby Pink Christmas Creativity Kit from Polly's Paper on Etsy.  I layered the iridescent patterned paper onto a white cardstock tag.  I then inked the church image with distress ink and adhered it to a white cardstock mat.  I then popped the image onto the tag with foam tape.  I cut a length of Metallic Silver String and tied it onto the tag.  I then created a triple looped bow with Shell Gray Shimmer Satin and adhered it to the top of the tag.  I finished the tag with 3 silver flat backed pearls and lots of snowy sparkle to the rooftops with Stickles.  I hope you enjoy the tag, and come join in the fun challenge.  Have a wonderful day!

Happy Thanksgiving

Hi there crafty peeps!  I am back today with a fall card perfect for Thanksgiving.  I used a stamp set from Fun Stampers Journey and ribbons from Really Reasonable Ribbon.

I created a gold embossed background with the Playful Leaves background stamp and matted it onto Candy Apple cardstock.  I stamped two leaves with the Autumn Time stamp set.  I colored them with several colors of ink and glazed them with Journey Glaze.  I stamped the sentiment onto a die cut pierced circle and mounted all of that onto the card base.  I added some sequins for some sparkle.
The ribbons I used for the card were Tangerine Satin Swirls Ribbon and Tangerine Diamond Satin Ribbon.  I hope you enjoy my project.  Have a wonderful weekend!

Really Reasonable Ribbon November Blog Hop

Hi there crafty ribbon lovers!  Today is the day for the November Blog Hop at Really Reasonable Ribbon. The design team and I have come up some beautiful projects with the new Silver and Gold Mix ribbon club assortment.

If you are following along you should have come here from Jennifer's Blog.  If not, head over to the Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog to start at the beginning.

I  made a card using several products from Fun Stampers Journey and ribbons/lace from the Really Reasonable Ribbon Store.

I stamped and colored with Copic Markers the snow lady from my Ethel Winter Stamp Set.  I then layered several papers from the Yummy Prints paper pack.  I embossed a piece of Pool Play cardstock with the Happy Holidays embossing folder and added it to the layers of patterned paper.  I then stamped the sentiment on a banner strip from the Cheerful Trees Stamp Set.  I layered the snow lady and sentiment onto the card front with foam tape.  I added Journey Glaze and Journey Sparkle Dust to my snow lady.  I added several Holiday Elements Journey Sequins to the card as well.

The ribbons I used around the middle are Shell Gray Shimmer Satin and Judy White Crochet Lace.  The bow at the top is made from Random Stars on Light Silver Satin Ribbon.  I made the triple loop bow with my Bow-It-All tool

I hope you enjoy my Christmas card I created with the beautiful new ribbons from the November Ribbon Assortment.  Now head on over to Bonnie's Blog which is the next on our hop.  Have a wonderful crafty day!

Holiday Pocket Gift Card Holder

Hi there crafty peeps!  I am here today to share with you a gift card/treat holder I made using products from my Fun Stampers Journey collection and ribbons from Really Reasonable Ribbon

I created a double pocket with Cranberry Bliss Cardstock and my Pocket Card Die.  I assembled it, and cut two pieces of holiday patterned paper to fit inside the front pocket and the front of the card.  I created a notecard for the back pocket with Kiwi Slice Cardstock and stamped a sentiment from the Jolly Friends stamp set onto the top.  I then wrapped some Red Seam binding around the front of the pocket and tied it in a single bow.  I popped up a pierced circle cut from Whip Cream Cardstock.  I then stamped the Star onto Kiwi Slice Cardstock with Kiwi Slice Ink and fussy cut it out.  I adhered down a "nest" of Metallic Silver String on top of the pierced circle and then placed the star on top of that with foam tape.  I stamped the cute little deer image in Versafine ink and colored it with my Tombo markers.  I added Journey Glaze to the nose, antlers, hooves, nose, and scarf.  I fussy cut him out and adhered him to the star.  Finally I added a patterned paper fishtail banner and puffy silver star to a clothespin and pinned a giftcard to the inside of the front pocket.  This would also be perfect for a candy cane or another treat in lieu of a giftcard.  I hope you enjoy my project.  Have a wonderful day!
