September Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog Hop

Hi there crafty ribbon lovers!  Today is the day for the September Blog Hop at Really Reasonable Ribbon. The design team and I have cooked up some beautiful projects with the new Haunted Halloween Mix ribbon club assortment.

If you are following along you should have come here from Ginny's Blog.  If not, head over to the Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog to start at the beginning.

I dug into my overly large collection of stamps for this challenge.  One of my favorite holidays is Halloween, so I collect a lot of Halloween themed stamp sets.  For this card I decided to use Darcie's Halloween Owl set.  I stamped the images onto Copic cardstock and then colored them with a variety of my Copic Markers.  I fussy cut them out and then adhered them to an eerie background I created by blending Tim Holtz Distress inks in Seedless Preserves, Chipped Sapphire, Black Soot, Fossilized Amber, and Squeezed Lemonade.  I stamped the sentiment with Versamark ink and heat embossed with my WOW bright white embossing powder.  I layered it onto black cardstock with some Halloween patterned paper from my stash.

I created a band with two of the ribbons from the assortment; Kiwi Delicate Stitched Satin ribbon and Pumpkins on White Grosgrain ribbon.  I also created a small single loop bow with the same Pumpkins on White Grosgrain ribbon.  Finally, I added a few Halloween green sparkly enamel dots to the sentiment strip as an accent.

I hope you enjoy this Halloween themed card I created with the beautiful new ribbons from the September Ribbon Assortment.  Now head on over to Bonnie's Blog which is the next on our hop.  Have a wonderful crafty day!
