Hey there! Today is the day for the January Blog Hop at Really Reasonable Ribbon. The design team and I have cooked up some beautiful projects with the new Love is in the Air assortment.
If you are following along you should have come here from Ginny's Blog. If not, head over to the Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog to start at the beginning.
For my project, I decided to make a Valentine's Day pillow treat box with two of the ribbons in the assortment. I absolutely love this sentiment from the MFT Lovey-Dovey set. Unfortunately it is a retired set. I stamped with Doll Pink Simon Says Stamp Ink and inked the edges with Picked Raspberry Distress Ink. I added some teal enamel hearts to the sentiment tag.
I used Diamond Satin ribbon in Shocking Pink and Brenda White Crochet Lace for the belly band and the bow on the top. I added a button from my stash tied with Aqua Baker's Twine. I hope you enjoy this cute and simple treat box. Head on over to Bonnie's Blog which is the next on our hop. Have a wonderful crafty day!
