Aquarius Challenge

Hi everyone!
This week at the Craft-Room Challenge blog we Esther is challenging us to get into the spirit of the age of Aquarius with a water theme or water technique for our entries.  I decided to use both in a cute little birthday card I made.

I wanted to make an underwater scene that looked like you were looking out of a porthole of a boat.  The background was created using water and Tim Holtz Distress Ink.  The little sea creatures were colored using water and my new Inktense pencils.  It is hard to see in the picture but I added some sparkle to the bubbles, starfish, and fish with my Wink Of Stella clear glitter brush.  I am really happy how this cute little card turned out.  I hope it inspires you to create something for our challenge.  Have a wonderful week!

Stamps: Recollections Ocean Friends (Michaels); MFT Doodle Garden Party Time
Ink: Chipped Sapphire, Broken China, Tumbled Glass Distress Ink; Versafine Onyx Black; StazOn Jet Black; Dylusions White Linen Ink Spray; Wink Of Stella Clear
Paper: Tim Holtz watercolor paper; Bazzil Marshmallow; Neenah Desert Storm; CC Designs 110lb; MME Miss Caroline Dilly Dally
Dies: MFT Circle Stax; MFT Dimensional Banners
Embellishments: MFT natural twine
