Craft Hoarders and Altered Pages Blog Hop

This week we are teaming up with Altered Pages to do a blog hop.  Gloria is challenging us at Craft Hoarders to use buttons.

Challenge #14 Button it Up!

Crafters of every stripe are button hoarders! Buttons are pretty, inexpensive, and extremely versatile. If you are a card maker, quilter, layout artist, or anything in between, you probably have a button hoard! Buttons come in many sizes, styles, shapes, and colors, plus they are easy to store...usually in cute containers! Pull out those bins of buttons and use some of them for your challenge project!

One talented participant will receive this prize, donated by Altered Pages!

ALTERING YOUR CREATIVITY, that's what we believe in at AlteredPages.com. Our job is to supply you with inspiration and the tools to make it happen. We enjoy the creative process of all skill levels and mediums, so dive in and have fun with this challenge. Both Design Teams are creating inspiring works to spark you into creating too! Grab those bins and boxes, drag out your stash and let's GO.

I created a card using products from both Altered Pages and Canvas Corp.

The image is from Altered Pages.  The patterned paper is from the Pretty Things collection by My Minds Eye.  The buttons were from my Stash.  I created the large flower with damask canvas from Canvas Corp and dress pattern tissue from Altered Pages cut with Tim Holtz Tattered Floral Die.  I really love how it turned out.

I know this challenge is about buttons, but I love your canvas/tissue paper flower! It goes great with the patterned paper, too!
